Our Services

Providing a high level of service is one of our strongest assets. We have developed a system of work that synchronizes with our individual clients to enable us to deal with their requirements in a comprehensive, efficient and effective manner.

Service Level Agreements

Timothy J. Hegarty & Son, offer to our clients a comprehensive and personal service in dealing with all their legal requirements.

We are specialists in the field of commercial law, defence litigation and conveyancing. Some of the partners deal primarily with defence litigation while other partners and our associate solicitors practice primarily in the area of property and commercial law. In addition, we have two legal consultants with extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of property and company law.

I.T. Systems

Work Flow
We have had the Legal Evolve Case Management system installed in our practice to enable us to track each file from start to finish through a technically supported workflow system.

Solution Management

We have up-to-date I.T. backup in our practice. Because of the nature of business, paper files are essential. Current files are retained on site and when completed, they are maintained in a secure offsite location for up to eight years. We have a document imaging system in situ for all important documents such as medical reports, expert reports and pleadings.

All new files are immediately established on our Accounts Management System and Case Management System and all outgoing correspondence, documentation and precedents are retained on a File Server.

Relationship Management

We pride ourselves on providing a hands on approach and in providing an efficient service to our Clients. For any of our larger clients we would appoint one of our partners to the role of Lead Manager in handling the account.

We find that protocols vary with different companies in relation to liaison between the client and the Solicitor. We are happy to say that we enjoy an excellent relationship with our clients as well as a large number of colleagues in many other professions in the Munster area.

We would be happy to discuss any aspect of our service at any time and at regular meetings with our clients.

Quality Control

We are subject to regular Law Society review and inspection in the usual way. We are also subject to statutory audit by our Accountants and our accounts report is always filed with the Law Society on time. The Firm hold s an up to date Tax Clearance Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners and all our Solicitors hold up to date Practising Certificates.

We believe it is important to keep our Clients advised of any significant development in relation to any file. We believe in regular concise reporting to our Principals on such basis as the Client requires.
