Mary Foley
Mary is a Partner in our Litigation Department.
Mary qualified from UCC with a B.C.L. Degree in 2003 and from UCD with a Masters in Commercial Law in 2006.
Mary completed her traineeship with O’Rourke Reid gaining experience in Defence and Commercial Litigation and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2011.
Mary joined TJ Hegarty in 2011 and specialises in insurance defence work. She has considerable experience acting for insurance companies and state bodies in the area of motor, employers liability, product liability and public liability claims at all Court levels.
Mary has particular expertise in defending insurance fraud cases and minimal impact cases. Mary has also developed considerable experience in an evolving area of motor claims dealing with telematics and has had numerous successes in defending these claims.
